Visit Switcheroo Zoo (www.switcheroozoo.com) and create  an animal that has never existed. When you are satisfied with your animal, click on the 'PrtScn' key. Return to FrontPage and paste. Using the  crop tool, cut out the picture of the animal. (You must click on the picture to activate the picture tools.)

Now write a poem about your fantastic creature. You may choose any form that you like. Make sure your poem has at least 8 lines. Don't forget to name your poem.

With a mitten

She lives in Spain she gets no rain

They play and play all day long

Belions loves dandelions
But hates flowers

From all the stories you have heard
A great beast they've made of me
But consider also what I say
And a different story you'll see.

I did not range throughout the swamps
Looking for something to attack
I only sought to capture them
Whenever I needed a snack.

I roamed throughout the land you see
Whenever I was not asleep
To see what others might be there
My domain I wanted to keep.
 

The only reason we are gone
And no longer roam the field
Was not caused by a rock from space
As the evidence seems to yield.
 

We knew we never could comply
With the rules that would be set
And that we'd never learn the code
That's used on the internet.

So we decided we'd evolve...
Now believe this if you can
That we would clear from off this earth
To make way for lowly man.
